Delicious Turkey Burger Recipe: Try it Tuesday!

We all know fresh food tastes way better than frozen...so why not make your own burgers instead of using the gross already made, frozen ones?  This recipe uses ground turkey (which, in my opinion, has way more flavor than beef) and other ingredients that really does make the best turkey burgers!  Not only was this super easy to do, but it didn't take much time and didn't cost much at all!

Before I tell you how to make it, I will tell you the facts.  Prep for this meal took about 10 minutes.  This included chopping up the onion and parsley, combining the ingredients, and forming patties.  It then only took about 15 minutes on the stove to cook! I only spent $12.78 at the grocery store on ingredients for the burgers and I also had to buy potato salad and pasta salad at the request of my sister.
This means I only spent $2.13 per person!

Ingredients:
.............................................................................................................................
1 Pound Ground Turkey
1 Medium Red Onion, finely chopped
1/2 Cup Fresh Parsley, minced (you can use whatever fresh herb you like)
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Pepper
Swiss Cheese
Tomato
Lettuce

Directions:
.............................................................................................................................
1. Finely chop red onion and fresh parsley (or other herb)
2. Mix onions and herbs in with ground turkey
3. Form patties
4. You can cook these either on a grill or in a pan.  I do not have a grill and so I cooked them stove top in a pan and it worked really well.
5. Add cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce

My Thoughts:
.............................................................................................................................
This was so easy and so delicious I cant even think about any changes that it needs!  I would definitely recommend this to anyone and it is going on my list to cook for people.  It was super cheap and fast to make which will make an awesome meal again!
