Best Pumpkin Seed Recipe!

It's that time of the year again with pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin muffins, and let's get real....pumpkin everything!  The thing that we all forget about it is pumpkin seeds! Who doesn't love carving pumpkins?  The best part about it is getting all the seeds and baking them.  Now, there are a million recipes out there for baking seeds and I have tried many of them.  This one right here is what I have found to be the best so far....Everything Pumpkin Seeds! Everything bagels are my favorite so I decided why not...and tried it.  They are just to good not to share!

Ingredients:
.............................................................................................................................

1 1/2 Cups Dried Pumpkin Seeds
1 Tablespoon Butter
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Fresh Cracked Pepper

Directions:
.............................................................................................................................

1. Preheat oven to 300 Degrees
2. Melt the butter in a dish, then mix in olive oil
3. Pour the butter and olive oil into a bowl containing seeds, mix well
4. Add salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and peper
5. Spread seeds onto a foil covered cookie sheet
6. Bake for 10 minutes, remove seeds, stir, and place back in oven
7. Repeat this for until the seeds are brown and crispy (about 40 minutes)

My Thoughts:
.............................................................................................................................

This recipe is definitely one of my favorites from all the ones I have tried.  My only recommendation is not using so much pepper.  I think the problem was that I didn't have the fresh cracked black pepper so it ended up being to much.  Other than that they are great!
