I have no groceries...what should I have for dinner?

We all have those times where we have gotten to busy to go grocery shopping and there is just nothing to cook for dinner.  Luckily, my sister and I generally keep some basics in our fridge, freezer, and pantry so we are able to throw together a meal if we are running on empty.  My sister threw this meal together quickly and I thought it would be good to share how she just threw it together, rather than just a recipe.  If you have basics in your house you can make a meal!  Tonight for dinner we had chicken, potatoes, and green beans.  With a little bit a seasoning you can turn three easy things into a great meal!

Chicken:
.............................................................................................................................
We like to buy a bunch of chicken breasts and just freeze them.  This chicken was put into a gallon Zip Lock bag with the marinade so it would be easy to just pull out and cook whenever we wanted!  The marinade we used was a Grill Mates packet...these are so EASY!  Buy the chicken packet and it gives you the directions right on it for the amount of oil and vinegar to add and you are all set!

1. Marinate chicken and freeze.  Pull out of freezer to thaw for whenever you would like to cook it.
2. Put chicken in a one half of the 9x13 baking pan.
2. Cook for roughly 45 minutes (depending on size of chicken) at 350 degrees.

Potatoes:
.............................................................................................................................
1. Cut potatoes up in cubes.
2. Place them in the other half of the 9x13 baking pan, with the chicken.
3. Add a little butter or oil and sprinkle Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, and Pepper onto potatoes.
4. Cook (with chicken) for roughly 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

Green Beans:
.............................................................................................................................
1. Put frozen green beans in a pan on the stove.
2. Add Olive Oil and Garlic (minced) to the pan.
3. Saute until cooked.
