Dutch Soup

Dutch Soup is a childhood and family favorite!  It is super easy to make and is a must try. Unfortunately this is a recipe I can't tell you a price for because we always have most of the ingredients in our house....that is how much we love it.  Give it a try!  I PROMISE you will not be disappointed!

Ingredients:
.............................................................................................................................
5 1/2 Cups Water
Pinch of Salt
3 Stalks Celery, chopped (include leaves)
1 Package Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup
1/2 Cup Rice
1 Large Onion, chopped
1 Bunch of Parsley, chopped
1 Chicken Boullion Cube
1 Pound Hamburger
Saltine Crackers

Directions:
.............................................................................................................................
1. Combine all ingredients except for the meat into large soup pot.
2. Simmer for 30 minutes.
3. Crumble hamburger into simmering soup.
4. Cook until burger us done.
5. Serve with saltine crackers.

My Thoughts:
.............................................................................................................................
To say this is our favorite fall recipe is an understatement.  The second the weather gets a little chillier we make Dutch Soup.  My sister and I hate left overs, but this soup only gets better the next day! It is also a great meal to make if you are busy. It takes about 10 minutes to put it all together, and then you can go about your day while it cooks on the stove.  Try it out!
